Standing in Kerry Park, it didn't take long to understand why this is one of Seattle's most iconic views. During our family spring break in 2025, I captured this reference photo and immediately knew it would become a painting.

I've always been drawn to city skylines, and Seattle has a character all its own. From the unmistakable Space Needle to the layers of architecture, hills, and light, the city has an energy that's impossible to ignore.

When we returned home, I couldn't wait to bring that memory to life on canvas. Every brushstroke reminds me of a wonderful trip with my family and one of America's most beautiful skylines.
