Some places instantly feel like Cincinnati.

For me, Fountain Square is one of them. Standing beneath the Genius of Water statue with the historic Carew Tower rising behind it, you're surrounded by the history, architecture, and energy that make downtown Cincinnati so memorable.

When Colin Daugherty and I saw this incredible composition, captured by friend and photographer Rolando Archila, we knew it had to become a painting. The powerful silhouette of the fountain, the movement of the water, and the warm glow of the Carew Tower created a scene that was impossible to ignore.

This painting celebrates two of Cincinnati's most iconic landmarks and the city that has inspired so much of my work over the years. More than a cityscape, it's a tribute to the heart of downtown Cincinnati and a place where countless memories have been made.
